DMPE sitting atop NHRA World Champion, along with 5 other top 10 Finishers!!
What a season that it has been for the DMPE blowers in NHRA Top Fuel. While the season wrapped up on a not so great note with a rain out event cancellation in Pomona over the weekend, and yet DMPE ended up on six of the top ten finishers in the class including the World Champion and the #2 spot.
Team Kalitta driver Doug Kalitta secured the championship, while Shawn Langdon, the other Team Kalitta driver was a close runner up in the 2025 season. Both of the drivers rely on DMPE blowers to get the points and wins needed to put them in those spots after a race filled season.
Not only did we see DMPE on the #1 and #2 in points rides, DMPE was also sitting atop four more of the top ten finishers this season. Goes to show that DMPE helps win championships at the highest levels in the sport. This adds to an already impressive year where DMPE sat atop the Mid-West Drag Racing Series win Aaron Wells taking home the Pro Mod Championship over there.
Not to rest on previous feats, Darren will spend the “off season” looking for innovative ways to make sure that the teams and drivers using DMPE blowers have repeat performances during the 2026 season!!
Another Pro Mod Championship for Aaron Wells
Aaron Wells, a long time supporter of DMPE and their products secured another Pro Mod Championship in 2025.
Aaron Wells, a long time supporter of DMPE and their products secured another Pro Mod Championship in 2025.
Pro Mod in the Mid-West Drag Racing Series has always been one of the most tightly contested classes in all of drag racing and in 2025 that was no different. Throughout the season it was a nonstop battle between some of the biggest names in all of racing attempting to secure that coveted championship.
Names like Keith Haney, Jacob McNeal, Shawn Ellington, and others were fighting it all from April until October to see who would become this season champion. Entering the final race of the season at Tulsa, it really came down to Aaron and Jacob McNeal for the championship. There was less than a handful of points separating the two before the event began. That meant that even the small qualifying points over the weekend were going to matter.
Jacob was fighting for his first Pro Mod Championship, while Aaron already had a championship under his belt. Unfortunately for fans, but not for Aaron the fight for the championship was over after E1 as Jacob made an early exit and Aaron cruised to an E1 win over fellow Mustang racer Todd Martin. Aaron proceeded to march all the way to the finals, where he matched up against Kallee Mills. While Kallee took the win, it was Aaron that captured the 2025 Mid-West Drag Racing Series Championship.
A huge congratulations to Aaron, his family, crew, and fans on a great 2025. We at DMPE would like to thank Aaron and the Wells family for their continued support of DMPE!! With 2026 right around the corner, we are sure that Aaron will be looking to go back-to-back.
